My mind is reeling from the heat and all that has come through my brain. I really liked the Demo that Eileen presented. Learning how to make books so easily was wonderful. I liked that she combined art an poetry. They are both expressions that lend themselves to creativity. Very nice.
I enjoyed Eileen's lesson as well. I love to create books and I'm excited to incorporate into my teaching so many of the wonderful ideas presented so far.
ReplyDeletePoetry calendars will definitely find their way into my classroom, even if I work on it with only one of my classes. I really like EASY :) Besides, our 7th and 8th grade students have not had art for 5, yes, 5 years! What a shame :( I will incorporate as much art as possible into my assignments, because, I have some extremely talented artists. Then, administrators have the nerve to preach to us that "it's all about our children"? Come on!!
