Triple Entry Journal
I really enjoyed doing the Triple Entry Journal today. It allowed me to see Lori's perspective and allowed her to see mine. I have not read her comments yet, but I am looking forward to it.
I like the idea of using this method to encourage students to communicate on more of an academic, intellectual level about the material they are asked to read.
Likewise, I enjoyed the triple journals, and the best part was being able to read a colleague's point of view and mentally "see" if I am understanding what Qualley's point is. I was close to target, thank goodness.

ReplyDeleteWhat I found interesting about the journal was, even though I wrote very different things than my partner, we had a lot of the same thoughts.
