Interesting day

We had a great discussion of school, society and the issues we face everyday in our reading group today. Very enlightening and enjoyable.

Also, I liked the cutting up of our stories this morning. It was neat to see how things that I saw as separate events could be woven into each other.

I think the questions posed to my inquiry questions cause me to ask even more questions, with so much thesis seeking going on, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get one down!

I would also just like to apologize to Brenda for making her tape my narrative back together...

  1. At least your story was entertaining and it might be interesting to think about the connections of the barn burnings and the girls. Sorry I got them a little confused! You can sort it all out later!

  3. I need help with mine as well. I am all over the place and not sure what my focus is. High Stakes Testing. Merit Pay. Accountability. Public Perception of Educators. What is the goal of public education? Will giving teachers create better educated people or will bigger salaries promote higher respect of the profession? Do educators believe they deserve to be compensated more? Question after question. What am I looking for?
