sketchbook lesson
I just wanted to thank everyone for rolling with the punches during my presentation this morning. I know drawing and all are outside most peoples' comfort areas so thanks again!
I love to introduce and use technology in my classroom but have found it to be so unpredictable and undependable that I revert back to the horse and buggy. I also learned to always have a backup plan. You never know when the electricity will go off and you have to teach in the dark!
Technology can be a pain. I have an overhead LCD projector in my room, much like the one that Scott used this morning. When the bulb died this year, I was told that there would be no more bulbs. They are too expensive. My lessons are often built around PowerPoint, so that was unfortunate. I managed to procure one from a projector in a room that doesn't get used as much as mine :)
Oh the other hand, drawing shouldn't be outside your comfort area, so go home a draw.

ReplyDeleteYeah, what a bummer. I wish the pictures had shown up, but I think you all got the point in any case.
