Greetings Summer Institute Participants and Friends of OUAWP!
Today we begin another great adventure in writing, teaching, and community. Soon this webspace will be filled with your thoughts, reflections, reminders, questions, and pearls of wisdom. I can't hardly wait.

I'm looking forward to reading lots of responses. I'm also prepping for my brown bag lunch presentation on June 30.
ReplyDeleteThis summer session is already one of the best courses I have taken during my career as an educator. I am eager to keep exploring those texts--inquiry and collaboration with a blend of reflexivity!
ReplyDeleteI am officially a blogger! I feel just like Julie from "Julie & Julia"--only without the aptitude for creating culinary masterpieces! I'm looking forward to working with everyone!
ReplyDeleteI'M OFFICIALLY AGAINST FACEBOOK,MYSPACE TWEETER AND BLOGGING. THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG CHANGE. PLEASE WORK WITH ME.
ReplyDeleteHere I am!
ReplyDeleteIt is great that we are rolling technology into our project. I look forward to blogging daily.
ReplyDeleteHere we are.Great start to summer and it will only get better.
ReplyDeleteI also do not blog or use facebook so this is a new adventure for me. I think the class is going to be HOT! (you can take that however you tend to interpret it) Actually, I think it will be great!!
ReplyDeleteThis is all somewhat new to me but I am glad to learn new things. I am quite excited!
ReplyDeleteI'm here and ready to begin.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great day to be alive :) Lori
ReplyDeleteThis course is an exciting opportunity to develop my teaching and writing skills, two of my most favorite activities. I'm looking forward to working with all of you.
ReplyDeleteI hope it doesn't rain today.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Success!
ReplyDeleteI actually made it through to posting a comment. I am betwixt and be"tweet" when it comes to technology, so I am need to ask a few times about posting blogs. At any rate, I am excited about this institute!!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about this class and the remaining sessions. This is my first experience with blogging. Wow. It just goes to show you that you can teach an old dog new tricks. lol
ReplyDeleteLOL! The comments we are writing would make our students---even Tina's---roll their eyes. I purposefully do not have texting options on my cell phone b/c I would never have a real conversation with my grandkids! They live to text! I can remember when mobile phones were as large as a newborn baby. Try to hide that in class! Technology is great and can make life easier but I don't need 1 more thing to do and I certainly don't want to be assessible 24-7. Sometimes "I want to be alone"!
