I loved the way in which Mda discussed how he writes a story. The research part was fascinating to me. I had learned about breeding from presentations done at Williamsburg, VA. I wonder where they got their information. I am going again this summer so I'll make sure that I ask.
I had never heard of that before!! I constantly felt like I was sitting in on a very interesting lecture as I read Cion. I learned so many new things!

ReplyDeleteThe idea of "breeding plantations" is so disturbing! As he explained, Mr. Mda approached this aspect of his story to compare human breeding farms to livestock breeding farms. From a realistic viewpoint, I can't imagine how humans can treat other humans so inhumanely.
