You Guys Rock

At the end of the second week I can say this and mean it from my heart--you guys rock! Thanks for the hard work, the willingness to step into the air without a parachute, the grace with which you meet uncertainty. Have a great weekend. Be safe. Come back to the AWP on Tuesday all in one piece.

  1. I LOVE this experience!! I have learned so much and I hope I don't lose any of it. We have a terrific group of professionals in our class and we work together so well. I think we're a perfect fit :) Have a safe and fabulous holiday to everyone :)

  3. Thank you Sherrie and Don...as already mentioned, this SI has been a great opportunity to refresh old classroom "tapes" that I have been playing/saying way too long for new approaches, viewpoints and technology. (How's that, Don, for a long sentence!)I'm sure my students will benefit since I have learned so much more about effective teaching and writing skills. I couldn't ask fo a better vacation experience than this (unless I was stranded on a beach somewhere in the south Pacific!) I hope you have a safe and enjoyable weekend as well. Happy Independence Day!

  4. Too funny! As I was reading THE RIVER BETWEEN US I kept think our group would provide a wonderful Reader's Theater with this piece.

  5. I don't know if it is my fingers not working fast enough or my brain too fast. All my writings have significant errors but the brain isn't intercepting them before I hit POST! I have used that paragraph with the extra word in some workshop I presented. The brain picks up automatically to make meaning. Always scanning/searching....waiting.
